In July 2003 the Tate South Lambeth Library exhibited Identity Parade, as part of the Vauxhall Festival. You left one of the paintings on informal loan to the library. The interior is now being extensively remodelled and theer will be no space for tis large paiting. Could you contact me to arrange its return?

Hi Aldous, I recently encountered you at the Natural History Museum in London. I was sitting down, resting, and you sketched me as I sat. I wanted to express my gratitude for that. Thank you, much! All the best from the USA. The picture is posted here: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=120337504968130&set=a.1203350063017134.1073741831.100000264564072&type=3&theater Randon Taylor
Aldous, I have several painting from Jeene Eveleigh and wanted to see if you can direct me to a web site that I may find out more about this artist. the paintings are beautiful and depict southwest native americans and wildlife. Hope you can help.
Isabel
Hi Aldous,It's been a while...hope you and family are all well. Nice website. OK let me get to the point...I'm going to do a short writing for puppetry course in early November (Arvon Foundation) and I'm looking at ideas. Do you want to do something together?....maybe there's a Pessoa project...the multiple personalities might work well with puppets....any other ideas, you're work would be beautiful realised in theatre as you've done before.....could be fun! Let me know if you're interested...cheers,Nick (01462 442 122)
Hello Aldous, good to see you still very active. I bought a painting from your grad show at the RCA in 1984. I've seen it titled " A Roma " but my understanding is that it is titled "The sweet smell of success" . Can you clear this up for me? I remember you delivering it to me in a basement flat in Clarendon Rd Holland Park. I left to live in Lewisham later then back up to the Highlands where I am now. I married the daughter of Barto Dos Santos. He was head of printmaking at the Slade and did a lot of prints based on Pessoa's works.
Hi Aldous Finally got around to googling you after all these years. Remember the HallRichards Gallery in Shoreditch? Glad to see you are going strong. I now live in Deal, Kent. All the best Mary Thompson
Aldous, I would like to talk to you about the history of Folkestone School of Art. (I was a student in 1964 when your Father was teaching there). I am getting together a proposal for Turner Contemporary concerning the history of all the local Kent art schools that flourished in the 1960s. My mobile number is 07932715246. Roderick Coyne
Dear Aldous, I have just come across your paintings via the Casa Fernando Pessoa. How fascinating! I am assembling a small event in Glasgow, with the Mitchell Library, Glasgow University and Carcanet, and wondered if you would like to exhibit a small section of 'Identity Parade'. The University (where I work) has some exhibition spaces, but I would hope to secure a more public space, like Waterstones or the Mitchell Library. We are aiming for the first week of November. And, of course,we'd be delighted if you come come and introduce the exhibition. I am also inviting Richard Zenith, whom you might already know (you provided the cover artwork for his Penguin edition of a selection of Pessoa's poems. I look forward to hearing from you. Best regards, Luis Gomes luis.gomes [at] glasgow.ac.uk

Dear Mr Eveleigh I have seen your work in the Magdalen Arms in Oxford and particularly love the painting of the topless woman who appears to be resting her breasts in the water. I have been told that the pictures there are not for sale. Can you tell me if you have something similar for sale or a print of this picture? I doubt if I could afford an original actually but if you could get back to me I would really appreciate it. Manuela
Bonjour, Love your work. Lively and fearless. Discovered your site when searching for info about your father John who taught me at Folkestone in '63 and '64 (I was in the same group as Paul Davey and Steve Bradley - don't know if you remember them). Glad to know John's still with us and, presumably, still painting. I wish I'd listened to his advice to 'do' fine art instead of graphics when I progressed to Dip.AD and then the RCA. Now retired to the backwoods of France, I've finally returned to painting. Better late than never. Do give my regards to John and thank him for being a brilliant teacher. Toodle pip, Gordon
Hello Aldous How are you? kindest regards Jacky
aldous i love your work i'm a big fan, as you may know? the picaso you made and i bought from you, still has centre stage in my living room and i'm not remotely bored with it, it still gives me a kick every time i look at it, and that's daily and the dog loves it too. i wish you could get a show together in this country, as i'd really like to see some of these in the flesh
Hi Aldous, do you and stephanie have a new email address? I wanted to pass on my new blog address asmallcaseacrossindia.wordpress.com. Having a great time in India. Wish you were both here too! Love Bobby
It's that time of year... And I'm not the first spectre that has loomed out of the mists, I see... I've learned little over the years, except perhaps that you probably can't make old friends. But you folks will come to mind from time to time and believe it or not I do wish you well. It's great to see that your productivity and talent don't seemed to have suffered any diminution with the passing years. Email me if you feel so inclined - and best wishes to you and Stephanie for the coming years. Roy
